WHEN CHARLEY MET EMMA AUTHOR, AMY WEBB, TO WOOD COUNTY

Wood County Board of Development Disabilities (WCBDD) is pleased to announce that Amy Webb, the children’s book author of When Charley Met Emma, will be visiting Wood County on Friday, March 10th and Saturday, March 11th for a book reading, signing, and discussion.
When Charley Met Emma teaches kids about disability, empathy, and the beauty of friendships with people who are different from you. Amy Webb is an artist, writer, mother, and creator of the popular blog, This Little Miggy Stayed Home. As a mom for a child with a disability, she advocates for the community through her writings and interviews on her blog.
Her work has been featured in The Mighty, Design*Sponge as well as interviews in DesignMom, MotherMag and the print publication, Lunch Lady Magazine. Amy lives with her husband and three beautiful daughters in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The Wood County District Public Library, located at 251 N Main Street in Bowling Green, will host Amy Webb on Friday, March 10th from 4:30PM to 6PM. During this time, Amy Webb will read her book, provide a book signing, and an open discussion will follow. This event is FREE and open to the public.
On Saturday, March 11th, The Golden Vanity will host Amy Webb from 9am to Noon. Along with the book reading, signing, and open discussion, a breakfast charcuterie board and light refreshments will be provided. One copy of the book, When Charly Met Emma, will also be given to each family who attends the event, courtesy of WCBDD and Wood County Early Intervention. The Golden Vanity is located at 109 S Main Street in Bowling Green. This event is FREE and open to the public.
