We Want YOU to Become a Volunteer

Volunteers are vital in supporting people with developmental disabilities as they participate in and enjoy a variety of activities in our community. Our volunteers generously assist in enhancing our programs. While coming from diverse backgrounds, the characteristics that define and unite our volunteers are empathy, compassion, and the desire to help others.


Volunteering with the Wood County Board of DD can be an extremely rewarding experience.

If you have a desire to support people with physical and intellectual disabilities, we would love to have you as a volunteer! You must be 16 years old or older and complete the required training, background check, and fingerprinting.
