Wood LANE SCHOOL

Wood Lane School serves students in kindergarten up to the age of 22 who need support for significant, complex disabilities. Students attending the school retain their membership in their local school district with Wood Lane School serving as the appropriate educational environment to help the students accomplish their personal and educational goals.

With class sizes limited to eight students and a high adult to student ratio, the learners experience structured individualized instruction to help them make progress in their grade-level curriculum Students loop with the same teacher for several years to ensure each participant is well-known by familiar staff, and parents have the opportunity to experience the family atmosphere of the school.


Wood Lane School also operates a full-service breakfast and lunch program according to the guidelines provided by Ohio Department of Education.

COMMENTS & CONCERNS

Wood County Board of Developmental Disabilities (WCBDD) oversees school wide issues and policies. WCBDD recognizes the value of public comment on educational issues related to Wood Lane School. Providing opportunities for members of the public to express themselves on school matters is important.



The public is welcome to comment about such matters as curriculum, instruction, food service operation, student wellness activities, transition to post-secondary activities, etc., to contact@woodcountydd.org.
