Seatbelt alarms may be explored if an individual has a risk of falling and may undo his/her wheelchair seatbelt. The alarm can notify caregivers to provide assistance when needed. All devices that may restrict access or the right to access something within a person’s environment require a consultation with our Support Specialist team and potential review by the Human Rights Committee.
