Service and Support Administration (SSA)

Overview

The Service and Support Administration Department (SSA) assists people and their families in identifying needs and obtaining the supports necessary to meet those needs based on the available resources.  Service Coordinators work closely with the person, their family, and other staff to develop and implement services that will enable the person to acquire new skills as they need and prefer.

Department Services

Our SSA Department  is passionate about providing the people we serve with the very best support. Through our services we hope to empower and inspire people to live life to the fullest. Our department can assist you with the following:

  • Needs assessment
  • Developing of individual service plans
  • Arranging services
  • Monitoring the provision of those services
  • Assisting in the selection of providers
  • Incorporating the results of quality assurance reviews into the individual service plan

In addition to those services, our SSA Department will also serve as an information and referral contact to respond to questions and requests from people in the community, regardless of their eligibility for services. We are committed to ensuring every person has a safe and healthy living environment and will provide crisis intervention and necessary emergency services to the people we serve and their families on a 24 hour basis. We also review, investigate, and report any Major Unusual Incident (MUI), which includes alleged abuse, neglect, or other unusual incidents involving people with developmental disabilities.
