SECTION 00 1113 – NOTICE TO BIDDERS Bids will be received by Wood County Board of DD until 2:00.00 PM EST on Tuesday, June 9, 2020, via QuestCDN on-line bidding program.
Proposals shall be for the furnishing of materials and the performance of labor necessary for the:

All in accordance with the Contract Documents prepared by Garmann/Miller & Associates, Inc.,
38 S. Lincoln Drive, Minster, Ohio 45865 / 555 Metro Place North, Suite 320, Dublin, Ohio 43017.
A pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 AM on May 28, 2020 at the Services and Support Building,
Entrance 1921 E. Gypsy Lane Road, Bowling Green, Ohio. The pre-bid meeting is not mandatory,
but bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. The facility will be open for inspection at that time.
Attendees are required to furnish and wear a face covering while in the buildings and are strongly
encouraged to practice social distancing while on site.
A Bid Security in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check, irrevocable letter of credit, or surety
company bond pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised code in the amount of 10% of the
total bid shall accompany each bid; or a bid guaranty bond in accordance with Chapter 153.571 of
the Ohio Revised Code in the amount of 100% of the total bid shall accompany each bid.

no cost on the QuestCDN website prior to becoming a Plan Holder. To be considered a Plan
Holder and be able to place a bid on this project, a contractor must register on QuestCDN.com
and purchase the contract documents in digital form for downloading at the cost noted on the
web site. Registering as a Plan Holder is recommended for all contractors and sub-contractors.
Plan Holders will receive all addendum’s and other contract document updates via QuestCDN.
Bids will ONLY be received and accepted via the online, electronic bid service, through QuestCDN.

button at the top of the advertisement. Prospective bidders must be on the Plan Holders list through
QuestCDN in order for bids to be accepted.

The plan was developed using local and state guidance including, but not limited to the Wood County Health Department, The Ohio Department of Health, The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities, The Ohio Department of Education, and the executive orders of Governor Mike DeWine.
The plan will be updated as we learn more about the Coronavirus and continue to review guidance from local, state and federal authorities.

Wood Lane School will close for 3 weeks beginning on Monday, March 16, 2020 in accordance with the State mandate.

The Wood County Board of Developmental Disabilities began its’ celebration of Developmental Disabilities month at the Wood Lane CommUNITY Honors program on Friday, February 28, 2020 at Nazareth Hall. The event serves to honor self-advocates, community members, families, and staff of the Wood County Board of Developmental Disabilities who tirelessly work to make change for the better in Wood County. The Kiwanis AKtion club is a proud sponsor of the event.
“Oh wow, I didn’t see that coming” said Bryce Douglas, co-recipient of the Exceptional Support award, therecognition given to outstanding Direct Support Professionals. “The truth is the awards go to the kids”, he says about his work at Wood Lane School.“They are the ones who make us who we are. We all have life influences and these children are our influences. Everyday is different—you never know what will happen—but you are always greeted with a smile and a kiss.”
“Inspiring and lovely”, is how Shelly Storch described the evening. “It is always so enjoyable to see all the good in the people and the employees who we work with”.
